About Miri Miri NZ Ltd / Me

Kia ora/ Kia orana, My name is Billie Ngārangi Kamaea Naden. I am the proud owner of Miri Miri New Zealand Limited. Miri Miri is a translated to the word 'massage' in Te Reo Māori.

"The first and most important rongoā being is the connection we have with Atua (God) and this is realised through the power of karakia" (prayer, incantation, chants).

The most important statement is that no matter what healing is being sought or used, the important tikanga (customs) that cover this is karakia. Before any treatment such as mirmiri (massage), or romiromi (deep tissue massage), it is very important that prayers are said because the connection with the Divine element is what activates this healing potential.

Growing up, an only child, I was raised by both my Mother and my mother's parents (my grandparents). I had learnt from a young age about mirimiri (massage). I began massaging my grandmother's feet each time she requested it, and found that through the power of healing, I had a strong passion to heal others.

My Mother and my Grandparents are all Te Reo Māori teachers, and speak the Māori Native tongue fluently. I have been fortunate enough to grow up, surrounded by that sort of lifestyle!

I was motivated to start a Māori massage company to make a difference, to keep the Māori culture alive for years to come, so that my future children's children have full knowledge about where they come from.

Miri Miri NZ Limited is a place for healing, connecting, relaxing, spiritual aligning and cleansing. It's a place where I can connect with different wahine from different walks of life.

The business idea branched from the need to provide wahine (woman) to feel like they're in a safe environment, getting exactly what they're seeking, and being offered economical prices, all at once!

Miri Miri NZ Ltd is more than just a massage business,

It is a movement to bring back the Māori culture through massage therapy, and to ensure all wahine know they have a safe zone with me and my business!
